This new office building is located along a major thoroughfare in the Wyoming Valley’s urban core and uses a mix of traditional and contemporary design elements to develop a quietly progressive appearance.
Materials and construction technologies were selected to develop a durable exterior and an acoustically quiet interior; critical for this occupancy situated just feet from a 5 lane arterial road. A conscious decision was made to place parking to the rear so as to maintain the urban character in the context.
The project received an Honor Award for Design from the Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Institute of Architects in 2001.
